Animal Birthday Predictor ("ABP Pro", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and data sovereignty of stud farm managers, equine breeders, veterinary practitioners, and companion animal owners who utilize the ABP Pro mobile and web applications.

This Privacy Policy explains transparently how we collect, store, isolate, and protect your information, and the direct controls you have over your breeding records and account.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum necessary data required to provide gestation calculation, herd health scheduling, and official vector certificate generation:

A. User Account & Authentication Information

• Profile Data: Full name, email address, profile avatar photo (optional), and user account ID.
• Authentication: Securely salted and hashed credentials managed through dedicated authentication infrastructure. We never store plaintext passwords.

B. Animal Registry & Anatomical Markings

• Animal Identifiers: Registered animal names, species (Horse, Dog, Cat, Livestock), breed, sex, date of birth, microchip numbers, DNA registration numbers, and brand descriptions.
• Tri-View Anatomical Markings: Optional user-uploaded photographic records of Left Side, Right Side, and Head facial markings to document physical identity on pedigree certificates.

C. Breeding & Gestation Records

• Breeding Event Logs: Cover dates, breeding methods (Natural Service, Chilled AI, Frozen AI, ICSI), and Embryo Transfer records.
• Dual-Dam Pedigree Mapping: Separation of Recipient (Carrier Surrogate) Mare and Genetic (Donor Dam) Mare parentage.
• Diagnostic Milestones: Ultrasound scan milestone dates, confirmation flags, and attached diagnostic scan images.
• Surgical & Diagnostic Info: Caslick surgical procedure logs, surgical opening reminders, and Fetal Sex Scan records.

D. Offspring & Neonatal Growth Records

• Foals: Date of birth, sex, microchip, DNA reference, colostrum IgG antibody blood level test scores (mg/dL), stud book associations, and commercial transfer records.
• Canine Litters (Puppies): Color-coded collar tag badges, birth order, historical weight logs in grams, ounces, kilograms, or pounds, and departure weights.

E. Preventative Healthcare & Barn Rolodex

• Healthcare Protocols: Equine vaccination schedules, deworming, farrier hoof care, dental rasping, and canine vaccination logs.
• Professional Directory: Contact names, phone numbers, and email addresses for attending veterinarians, farriers, dentists, and buyers.

F. Financial & Transaction Data

• All in-app purchases of certificate credit packs are processed exclusively through Apple App Store In-App Purchases (StoreKit) or Google Play Billing. We do not collect, transmit, or store credit card numbers or banking credentials. We receive only transaction identifiers, receipt tokens, and consumable credit balances.

2. Device Hardware Permissions Disclosures

The ABP Pro mobile application requests the following device permissions strictly on an as-needed basis with transparent purpose strings:

• Camera: Used solely to allow you to photograph ultrasound scan printouts, anatomical markings, or animal portraits directly within the app. Photos remain on your device and private account partition.
• Photo Library: Used to select existing ultrasound images, registration documents, or animal photos from your photo library.
• Phone & SMS: Allows you to initiate direct phone calls or compose SMS text messages to attending veterinarians or farriers directly from your barn contacts directory.

3. Third-Party Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure

Strict Data Isolation — No Third-Party AI Data Sharing: In strict compliance with mobile application guidelines, Animal Birthday Predictor explicitly confirms that we do not share, transmit, disclose, or sell user personal data, animal breeding histories, ultrasound diagnostic scans, or pedigree records to any third-party artificial intelligence (AI) provider, large language model (LLM), or algorithmic training dataset. All gestational mathematics and scan dates are computed deterministically on private infrastructure.

4. Data Storage & Security Architecture

Security is fundamental to our architecture. ABP Pro utilizes enterprise cloud infrastructure with strict data isolation:

• Account Isolation: Database access policies ensure that accounts strictly access only their own records. It is impossible for one breeder to access or view another user's animal records or ultrasound photos.
• Encryption in Transit & at Rest: All network communication is enforced over TLS encrypted channels. All stored database tables and media files are encrypted at rest with industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
• Zero Data Brokering: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade breeder records, commercial foal prices, or genetic lineage data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. User Rights & Privacy Compliance

Regardless of your geographic location, you enjoy comprehensive privacy rights:

• Right to Access: You can review and export all your registered animals, breeding logs, and issued certificates at any time.
• Right to Rectification: You can edit and update animal records, microchips, and breeding dates directly through the app interface.
• Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): You have the absolute right to have your account and all associated animal records, ultrasound photos, foals, puppies, and contacts permanently wiped from our database.

To permanently purge your account and all breeding records, visit our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Portal or navigate in-app to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

6. Children's Privacy

Animal Birthday Predictor is a professional platform intended for adult livestock managers, breeders, and equine professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
